Supper Club

The supper club is held in my home in London Fields, Hackney. It is like a dinner party in the tradition of a Vietnamese feast with homemade Vietnamese food.

Vietnamese food is about the balance of flavours, of sweet, salty and sour – there is no measuring device that can ever match your own taste buds.

LELUU OPENS 8 Newburgh Street

Tea for two at Leluu

So you already know from our piece on Newburgh Street, that if you want to stand out from the crowds Carnaby is THE place for shopping. On that note we recommend you check out Leluu, the newest boutique on the street and my new favourite haunt.

The designer, originally from Vietnam brought a touch of Asia to London, with her exotic colours and hand painted materials. It is definitely the place to go for one-off originals and all the clothes are tailor made, with amendments available in store. No more annoying scenarios of finding that perfect pair of jeans only to find that they fit your legs like a dream but the zip just refuses to go up.

If you’re looking for that one-off show stopping outfit but can’t quite afford the haute couture price tag, then visit Leluu where pieces can cost anything from £60 – £120. The designer only makes a handful of each item so you can be sure to avoid any of those awkward ‘oh my god, she’s wearing my dress’ moments. Why spend all night hiding when you can be the centre of attention? The boutique also has a wide range of accessories, shoes and bags galore, in mainly classic tans and leathers, they are the perfect staple for any wardrobe.

Another treat that will tempt you is the range of complimentary teas they offer you on arrival, and with the way the weather has been recently a nice steaming cup is exactly what you need when you’re all shopped out and starting to lag, yes we’ve all been there ladies. More then just a fashion shop the boutique will be offering exclusive tea tasting sessions in the evening.

So make sure you stop on by for a cup of tea and a browse, you may just find what you’ve always been looking for.
